Frank Miller makes his solo directorial debut with this pulp comic classic from legendary comic artist and creator Will Eisner. It is campy as hell and the visual style is traditional Miller artwork splashed on the screen. The Spirit was before my time when it comes to comics but the film was ok for me but not great. The ladies, Jamie King, Eva Mendes, Paz Vega, Sarah Paulson and Scarlett Johansson, were delicious and beautiful as hoped for even if the movie was PG-13.
