David Ayer goes back to the L.A.P.D. well with this new corrupt cop action-drama starring Keanu Reeves. As in Training Day, Dark Blue and S.W.A.T., the main characters are over-the-edge or corrupt cops that deliver their own brand of justice by any means necessary. Keanu does deliver some great lines in his classic monotone drawl and is credible as the corrupt cop until you compare him to Denzel Washington's performance in Training Day. The film is helped out by well executed performances by Forest Whitaker, Jay Mohr, Cederic the Entertainer, and Hugh Laurie of House M.D. fame. A fun ride and a must see for fans waiting for the next season return of FX's The Shield.Click here to check out the official website.
