This year's bio-pic is the rise and death of East Coast rapper Christopher "Biggie" Wallace. First time actor Jamal Woolard is incredibly cast as the charismatic rapper with Derek Luke filling in the shoes of his producer and friend, Sean "Puffy" Combs. The story is well known to most of us and goes in to the ridiculousness of the East Coast / West Coast feud. I was always a bigger fan of Tupac because of his film work versus his rapping but I enjoyed both artists' music equally.
